In a shocking incident of road rage, four men in a black SUV unleashed chaos on a group of bikers on the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram. The incident, captured on CCTV and widely shared on social media, occurred on Sunday morning when the SUV began driving recklessly, disrupting the bikers' journey.
Hardik Sharma, one of the bikers and a resident of Sector 46, Gurugram, recounted that the SUV occupants, allegedly intoxicated, stopped their vehicle in front of the bikers, assaulted them, and vandalized their motorcycles. Sharma, who sustained severe injuries, credited his helmet for saving his life. The attackers fled the scene after a crowd gathered, but not before issuing threats.
Following Sharma's complaint, an FIR was registered at Sector 37 police station under relevant sections of the law. Gurugram police confirmed that the injured biker received medical treatment and was discharged. Efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects, who have been identified.
This incident highlights the growing menace of road rage and reckless behavior on Indian roads, sparking concerns about public safety and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws. Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward with any additional information to aid the investigation.
